World of Jazz presents ProgJazz with Storm Bakker
ProgJazz is back after a short hiatus. To celebrate the re-launch of our website (which now moved to progjazz.net) we are also very excited to announce our very own radio show, broadcasted by Concertzender and hosted by Storm Bakker!
The first episode will air coming Monday, May 13th on 9pm CET.
ProgJazz covers the full spectrum of progressive and adventurious genres, from post-bop to Zeuhl, from challenging odd-meter to fragile improv, from lyrical modal to vintage electronic. Besides focusing on brand new music, and the Next Generation, we also cover the classic ‘peak’ jazzrock from the seventies.
In the first episode, music will be played from Kasia Pietrzko, InTrio, Angelo Boltini, Thomas Winther Andersen, Sun-Mi Hong and One Shot.
